Andy Altizer is the Emergency Manager at Westminster Schools in Atlanta, and previously served as the Director of Emergency Preparedness at Georgia Tech, Director of Emergency Management and Kennesaw State University, and Critical Infrastructure Protection Program Manager at Georgia Emergency Management/Homeland Security. He also has a variety of experiences within the active and reserve component in the Army, including two Field Artillery commands, Public Affairs Officer and as an Inspector General in Afghanistan in 2002. He has a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Missouri, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Truman State University.
